About a month ago, one of my teenagers (and yes, I currently have three teens at home 😜) came to me feeling frustrated.
She shared something that really caught my attention.
She couldn’t find a devotional made for teens who are already in a committed relationship.
There were plenty of devotionals about preparing to date. Others were clearly designed for engaged or married couples. But there was a noticeable gap... nothing for young couples who are already together, love each other, and genuinely want to grow deeper in their faith side by side.
She wasn’t asking for relationship advice rooted in trends or feelings. She was asking for something grounded in truth. Something biblical. Something that would help her and her boyfriend honor God while navigating their relationship with intention.
And honestly? She was right. That resource didn’t exist.
So we created one.
Introducing Set-Apart Dating
Set-Apart Dating is about choosing a relationship that reflects Jesus in every way.
This devotional was created specifically for Christian teens who are dating with purpose. Teens who want their relationship to be more than just emotional connection, and instead be rooted in God’s Word.
Through Scripture, reflection, and intentional conversation, Set-Apart Dating encourages couples to:
-
Build their relationship on a biblical foundation
-
Learn how to love with purpose and selflessness
-
Honor one another in both words and actions
-
Pursue purity in a culture that often dismisses it
-
Grow spiritually together, not separately
Rather than telling teens what not to do, this devotional invites them into a bigger vision... one where dating is intentional, faith-filled, and God-honoring.
Dating With Confidence and Conviction
Teen dating can feel confusing, especially when culture and faith send mixed messages. Set-Apart Dating helps young couples navigate that tension with clarity and confidence. It reminds them that a Christ-centered relationship isn’t about perfection, but about daily choices to put God first.
Our prayer is that this devotional empowers teens to pursue relationships marked by faith, respect, and intentional growth—relationships that are truly set apart.
Because when God is at the center, dating becomes more than just a season. It becomes part of their spiritual journey.
